As a writer, I am the inaugural recipient of the 2020 UEA New Forms Award through the National Centre for Writing. I hold an MA (Distinction) from the University of East Anglia, and am an MSt in Creative Writing candidate at the University of Oxford. I write scripts, lyric essays, and fiction.
As a teacher, I’ve taught writing workshops for the UEA Green Film Festival, Neurotales, and the Norwich Xrt Festival. My teaching focuses on helping writers explore their writing through sensorial exploration and movement training. I also have extensive experience helping with academic writing for undergraduate and graduate level applications and essays, as well as personal statements. References available upon request.
As a consultant, I recently worked with the Race to Zero 2020 November Youth Fashion Dialogues in lieu of COP26. I led and facilitated focus groups with youth leaders, and presented my findings in a spoken-word poem to leading industry stakeholders. I also recently served as a Creative Consultant for Neurotales, a Neurodivergent and Mad writers group. I am passionate about using my tools as a creative practitioner to help develop your narrative, be that as an individual, company, or greater organization.
